Member's Meeting
The second Monday of each month AWS holds their member's meeting, at Paws and Paddle. The meetings are open to the public and start at 7:30pm. All are invited to attended. (860) 354-1350 for more information.

We are pleased to announce that our shelter has extended it hours on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. We extended the hours on Tuesdays to make it easier for those who couldn't make during our normal hours. Our hours for Wednesday through Saturday will continue to be 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
New to our website you will find a way to donate your old car and have the proceeds go directly to our shelter. Simply click on the below Picture of the car and you will be directed to a form to fill out and Pick your charity. Remember to click on Animal Welfare Society, Inc to make sure your dontation makes it to our shelter.

Animal Welfare will be having a New Volunteer Orientation on June 1 2008. If you are between the ages of 12-18 and interested in Volunteering at AWS Please Stop by the Shelter.
The Shelter is in need of Bleach. The brand does not matter. We use large amounts of Bleach each day, so bulk donations of Bleach would be accepted and appreciated. Thank You for your support of AWS.
Its Back !!!! The 8th Annual Walk-a-thon for the Animal Welfare Society is back !!
Get your walking shoes on and your best friend all leashed up and ready for this event. Grab your friends, family and whoever else you can and join us .
