Harley was abandoned as a puppy. After she was brought to the shelter she was adopted by the Macsata family of Torrington, Connecticut. She just loves her new home, and her new owners just love her!
Meg was adopted in January of 2002 by the O'Briens in Sherman, CT. She loves her new home, especially her new yard and the long walks her family takes her on. She's really happy and so are we!
Lotus was adopted by the Keeler family. She loves her new home! She settled in beautifully and likes her new canine friend - she thinks he's the greatest thing since squeaky toys!
Lucas (formerly known as Lefty) was adopted by Jill Ackerman, Bob Reiling and their lovable pooch Winston Churchill. Lucas was very excited about his new older brother and is having a great time with his new parents!

Jordan was adopted in January 2003 by me, an AWS volunteer. Adopting her was one of the best things I have ever done. It gives me great joy to hear her purr and know she's happy, healthy, and very loved. Thanks AWS!
Ray & Cathy Boas of New Preston, Connecticut were adopted by Heather, who now reigns as princess of their antiquarian and out-of-print bookstore. Loyal subjects Ray & Cathy couldn't be more thrilled!
Petey the Chihuahua (formerly known as "Fig") was adopted on February 28, 2001 by the Babbino family of New Milford, CT.
As best as we can tell, all parties concerned seem to be tolerating one another reasonably well!

Mona was adopted in March 2003 by Dan Hamilton and Chaldea McCarthy of Pennsylvania. They say she is being spoiled rotten and seems to know she's the queen of the apartment already! Just what we like to hear!

Averys' owners told us "We are so very happy to have Avery in our home!"
Adopted in August 2006
Just wanted to drop a quick note about Pearl.
Shes doing wonderful and really loving life. Shes blossomed into being an awesome dog. Shes started agility as well as obedience, and shes slowly learning to politely greet dogs. Shes gained about 15 lbs since we brought her home, shes eating awesome. Shes very very vocal esp when she wants something, and she likes to wake up at 4am, we're working on that one. :)

This guy was named Don until his new parents took him home. This is what they say about him
We have re-named him "Tikachoo." Tiki for short.
At the time I adopted him I mentioned that "When you bond, you BOND.
When it's right, it's RIGHT!" Such is the case with Tiki.
Hubble came to our shelter with another mastiff. He took up the whole kennel and couldn't fit thru the door. What a great feeling we got when we recieved this picture of him with a new little buddy in his new home. From what we have been told he is a hit and loves every bit of room he has.
